CONNECT
CONNECT is an innovative ‘community action’ focused resource developed and coordinated by Local Drug Action Groups Inc. It fits within the LDAG framework of resourcing volunteers as they identify and develop strategies that aim to reduce alcohol and other drug related harms – in their local communities.
The CONNECT toolkit is comprised of various resources including a two-day workshop, resource file, access to relevant, current research regarding parents, families and communities and practical strategies. These resources are designed to build the confidence and capacity of LDAGs in their ‘grassroots’ community action and are supported by the CONNECT Program Officer at LDAG Inc.
